Our day begins with a tour of Rawhide Boys Ranch, just south of New London on over 700 acres of picturesque property. See why so many young men benefit from the love, support, training, and mentorship they receive at the ranch and the projects they undertake while living there. For our next stop, we step aboard the Chief Waupaca Sternwheeler for a 1½ hour narrated cruise of Waupaca’s beautiful Chain O’ Lakes. Enjoy the scenery and learn the history of the lakes while on board the narrated cruise. Our final stop of the day will be at the Red Mill on the Crystal River in King, WI. MANSIONS, MOTORCYCLES & STAGECOACHES
JUNE 27TH & 28TH, 2017
Get ready for a fun-filled 2 days. Our first stop will be at the Pabst Mansion — the former home of Captain Frederick Pabst (of beer fame) — was just one of a few dozen lavish estates that lined what was then Grand Avenue (so named for its wealthy residents and their impressive homes). From here we are off to the Harley Davidson Museum. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Motor Bar & Restaurant for some King of the Road Food. Later this afternoon we make a stop at Mitchell Park Conservatory better known as The Domes. The second morning, after an included continental breakfast, we will explore The Wade House in Greenbush. Return to the time of stagecoach travel and see a community where Yankee refinement met the Wisconsin wilderness. Put yourself in the shoes of Wisconsin travelers in the stagecoach era.
